Foundation is simply the name we give to this PT program and it is our entry level program and the most popular method of Personal Training. It consists of a number of sessions one-on-one with a junior trainer (fully trained & overseen by Mr. Inta-Fitness and Mike) at our private studio in Hawthorn. At your first session we (all assessments conducted by Mr. Inta-Fitness) will assess your current fitness level and discuss your needs and training frequency. We will then set your goals and we will weigh you, measure your body fat and metabolism, take your girth measurements and take your photo. This is all done so we know exactly where you have started from and so we can compare and track your results periodically. Note, photo is optional and if you are not comfortable then you do not have to do it, but we do recommend it so you can really see where you are starting from and gauge your progress. It is tangible and documented results that will keep you motivated and drive you to succeed!
As part of our commitment to service excellence we also provide a complimentary workout towel and free filtered water at each and every session so you never have to worry about a towel or your drink!
Your 1st session/assessment/induction will be with me, Mr. Inta-Fitness, and then EACH 4th week you will me again for a PT session to check in with me, discuss your progress and satisfaction with your training and give feedback on your trainer (this will keep the buggers on their toes :)) and also so you can receive & benefit from some of the wisdom and tips that I normally reserve for only the Platinum Coaching Clients (shhh.....don't tell them will ya).
You receive our full, undivided attention for the duration of your session with no distractions. We will motivate you, guide you, help you and push you, but only to your limits! We will never ask you to do more than you are able or to do anything you don’t want to do, but we will make sure you work as hard as you can to ensure rapid results and your satisfaction.
Session Length:
All foundation 1 on 1 PT is a 'FASTFIT' 30 minute session which is structured in such a way to provide you with the same rapid results that would take an hour or more in a conventional gym. The types of exercises and sequence work multiple muscles in succession and this cuts training time in half. It is important to remember that when it comes to exercise your results are dependant on your effort & intensity and not on the duration of training. So, therefore you can be in and out of the studio in about 45 mins (including warm-up/cool down) and feel like you have had a great result’s based workout. We ask that you arrive 15 mins early and warm up & stretch prior to beginning your session.
Session Structure:
Exact session structure depends on goals but will always include:

Functional weight training - To tone and strengthen muscles, boost metabolism and strengthen bones, tendons and ligaments.

Cardiovascular conditioning - To burn fat and energise you, will include some boxing/kickboxing drills.

Full body stretching - To improve flexibility and joint range of motion and aid in recovery of exercise.
